Wigan Athletic welcome another in-form side, Birmingham City, to the DW Stadium, as they attempt to win back-to-back games for the first time this season.
The Latics bounced back from their 9-1 hammering at Spurs with a creditable 1-0 home victory over Sunderland last time.
Despite the embarrassing defeat, they have proved they can give anyone a game on their day, having beaten league leaders Chelsea 3-1 at home as well as posting an excellent 2-0 away victory at Aston Villa on the opening day of the season.
Wigan manager Roberto Martinez has a fully-fit squad to choose from for Saturday's Premier League clash with Birmingham.
It means Martinez is likely to name to unchanged side from their last time out against Sunderland.Martinez is demanding consistency, however, as the Latics seek back-to-back wins for the first time this season.
But it will be tough against a Blues' side who are now really finding their feet in the top flight. Brimingham City have climbed into 11th spot after a five-game unbeaten run which has yielded 11 points.
It is relatively rosy times for McLeish and his squad after being relegated 18 months ago and then having to battle last season to reclaim their top-flight status.
Birmingham manager Alex McLeish has no fresh injury problems either.
The former Scotland boss is likely to keep faith with the squad which impressed in beating Wolves 1-0 last weekend to climb into 11th spot.
Striker Cameron Jerome picked up a first-half injury to his leg but has recovered and is set to continue his partnership with Christian Benitez.
Teemu Tainio, Garry O'Connor, Martin Taylor and David Murphy remain long-term casualties as City look to extend their unbeaten run to six games
REVIEW:
Blues extended their unbeaten run to six games as two Sebastian Larsson free-kicks helped them come from behind to sink Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium.
The Latics took the lead through Charles N'Zogbia after 33 minutes to ease the pain of losing keeper Chris Kirkland to a back injury midway through the first half.
But the Blues showed the grit that has served them so well in recent matches as two Larsson set-pieces sandwiched by Christian Benitez's strike took Alex McLeish's men into the top half of the table.
The only spark was provided by Roger Johnson, and that in a far from appropriate fashion, as he reacted with fury to being accidentally caught by a flailing arm from Hugo Rodallega in the 14th minute.
The midfielder had to be restrained by one of his team-mates from confronting Rodallega, who was also protected by referee Lee Probert.
A pleading Rodallega was eventually cautioned by Probert, who then had to issue Johnson with a stern talking to minutes later as he felled Paul Scharner.
Midway through the half, Roberto Martinez was forced to withdraw injury prone keeper Chris Kirkland, and his replacement, Mike Pollitt was thrust into action almost immediately. A James McFadden free kick fell to Christian Benitez whose powerful shot forced a splendid reaction save from the substitute.
A lovely Wigan move- Scharner leaving a cross field pass for Charles N’Zogbia to roll into Rodallega, should have broken the deadlock, but the Colombian shot over the bar. However, Latics fans didn’t have to wait much longer for a goal. Jason Scotland out muscled the Birmingham defence and found N’Zogbia who curled a delightful left foot shot past the outstretched Hart for his third goal of the season.
But all that good work was undone when Mohamed Diame was harshly penalised for a challenge on Lee Bowyer and Larsson's free kick flew over the mass of bodies in the area and into the corner of Pollitt's net.
And four minutes later, a remarkable come back was complete, when Bowyer hooked over the top and Benitez out-paced Titus Bramble and his low shot rolled into the net despite a decent contact from Pollitt.
Larsson then curled in a wonderful free kick to give Birmingham some comfort before Jordi Gomez pulled one back for the hosts late on with yet another free kick.
