West Ham United Football Club vs. Middlesbrough Football Club, 2:1

Middlesbrough know that surviving in the Premier League is practically impossible at this point, but won't want to give up hope until the final whistle of the very last match of the season. Boro need a comfortable victory over West Ham United and depend on several other results. West Ham United meanwhile, are in ninth position and aren't likely to surpass Tottenham Hotspur for eighth as their goal record just isn't good enough. They could however drop a spot if they don't win this game. The Hammers have to do without the suspended James Tomkins for this match, but Carlton Cole and Danny Gabbidon could both feature after recovering from injuries. Afonso Alves, Chris Riggott, Emanuel Pogatetz, Stewart Downing and Didier Digard are all sidelined for Middlesbrough, but Gary O'Neil, Jeremie Aliadiere and David Wheather return from injury.
