Riding a three-match losing skid, Almería return home to the Mediterráneo on Sunday for a home match against fifth place side Deportivo La Coruña.
Almería acquitted themselves nicely a week ago but fell 4-2 to Real Madrid at the Bernabéu. Over the last three games, Almería have been outscored 11-4, seeing them slip to 16th place, just two points above the relegation zone.
Depor, on the other hand, saw a three-match win streak come to an end last week when they were beaten 3-1 by Barcelona at the Riazor. A win on Sunday, however, could see them inch within striking distance of the top four in La Liga.
Almería will go into the game without the services of midfielder Albert Crusat after a training injury, and Hernán Bernardello will miss out through illness for Hugo Sánchez's side. Kalu Uche and Hernán Pellerano are also out.
For Depor, manager Miguel Ángel Lotina is without Brazilian midfielder Juca and Mexican midfielder Andrés Guardado due to injury.
This will be a tough match even at home for Almería. Look for Depor to bounce back and claim valuable points away from Galicia on Sunday.
