Bayer Leverkusen look to consolidate top spot in the Bundesliga on Friday evening when the unbeaten side play host to Eintracht Frankfurt at BayArena.
Leverkusen, who have drawn their last three matches, have allowed the fewest goals this season (eight) even though they conceded two late ones in a disappoting 2-2 stalemate against Schalke last Saturday.
Frankfurt, on the other hand, are fresh off a 2-1 victory over Bochum in Round 11. Prior to the victory, the visitors had lost three of their previous four league outings.
Leverkusen manager Jupp Heynckes will continue to be without Rene Adler and Michal Kadlec due to injury. Sami Hyypiä picked up a knock at the weekend against Schalke, but should be fit come kickoff. Renato August is also a long-term absence for the home side.
For Frankfurt manager Michael Skibbe, midfielder Patrick Ochs is out after a rib break, leaving Zlatan Bajramovic to deputize. Striker Ioannis Amanatidis also remains out of action due to a knee injury.
Leverkusen are unbeaten through their first 11 games of the season, but have only beaten Frankfurt once in the clubs' last six meetings. Leverkusen, though, are flying high despite a recent tough patch, and they should come out with a strong result on Friday.
