A very intruiging tie is in the cards on Saturday at Rhein-Neckar-Arena as fifth-place Hoffenheim play host to defending champions Wolfsburg in Bundesliga round 12.
Hoffenheim have won their last two games over Nürnberg and Freiburg, but they have yet to win a game this season against a team currently placed in the top half of the Bundesliga table.
Wolfsburg were quite impressive on Tuesday as they thrashed Besiktas 3-0 in the Champions League, but they were disappointed in their last league game - a 3-3 draw at home against Mainz in which they conceded the lead with five minutes to play.
Demba Ba, Chinedu Obasi and Andreas Ibertsberger are all out of action for the home side, and Manuel Gulde continues his recovery from a broken foot.
Wolfsburg, meanwhile, once again are without Karim Ziani due to a muscle injury, but the Algerian is the only major injury concern for Armin Veh's charges.
This will be one of many very tightly-contested ties in the Bundesliga this weekend, and it would not be surprising at all to see Wolfsburg build on their midweek performance. Slight edge for the visitors here.
