Sevilla look to secure first place in Champions League Group G on Wednesday when they play host to Rangers, who are already eliminated from European competition.
Sevilla need just a point from this game to ensure their name is in the seeded pot for the round of 16 draw, but they come off a disappointing effort at the weekend that saw them held 1-1 at home by Valladolid in a match where they had a man advantage for much of the second half.
Rangers, meanwhile, have just two points from their five group games this season, securing the end of their European dreams. They do, however, remain top of the Scottish Premier League after Saturday's 3-1 victory away to Falkirk.
Sevilla have countless absences for this match including Luis Fabiano, Sebastien Squillaci, Adriano, and Julien Escudé. Fredi Kanouté could also be withheld by manager Manolo Jiménez.
Rangers will only be without Pedro Mendes with a leg injury, and striker Kris Boyd could start if he recovers from a thigh knock of his own.
Despite all the injuries to Sevilla, it will be unlikely that they fail to get the result necessary to ensure they win the group. They could also win the group, even if they lose the match on Wednesday.
