Werder Bremen can go back within a point of Bayer Leverkusen at the top on Sunday when they play host to Borussia Dortmund at Weserstadion.
Thomas Schaaf's men came from behind to draw 2-2 at Nürnberg last weekend, and they were 2-0 winners over Austria Wien in the Europa League on Thursday.
Dortmund, on the other hand, were 2-0 winners last week over Hertha Berlin, and they have won three of four league matches overall to put them in ninth place on 16 points.
Bremen have a slew of injury problems heading into Sunday's match as Christian Vander, Torsten Frings, Marcelo Moreno, and Torsten Öhrl will all miss out.
Dortmund have Tamas Hajnal and Sebastian Kehl still out with injuries, and Tinga is also set to miss out with an abdominal woe.
All numbers favor the home side, but injuries could play a role. Look for Bremen to come out on top over the men in yellow.
