Real Valladolid Club de Fútbol vs. Málaga Club de Fútbol, 1:1

Luke Williams

Málaga look to move out of the relegation zone on Sunday when they travel to face Valladolid at the Zorrilla. Málaga currently sit second from bottom on eight points from 13 games, but they could possibly move out of the drop zone with their first win since opening day. Their form has improved a bit of late with four straight draws, including last week's 1-1 result at home against Osasuna. Valladolid, meanwhile, sit in 15th place and are just two points above the bottom three themselves. They got a solid 1-1 draw at Sevilla last week, but have not won in their last five games. Valladolid will not have Borja for the match due to suspension, and goalkeeper Jacobo Sanz is also set to miss out with an injury. Sisi and Pedro López are also set to miss the game injured for Mendilibar's men. Málaga are without Patrick Mtiliga with an injury, and striker Valdo is not on the squad list for the trip to Valladolid. The rest of the squad should be available for kickoff. This will be a very tight encounter, and don't be surprised if it ends with Málaga's fifth consecutive draw. REVIEW:
