Atlético Madrid face a daunting task to rise out of the drop zone on Saturday when they make the trip to Galicia to take on Deportivo La Coruña at the Riazor.
Quique Sánchez Flores' men sit third from bottom on just seven points this season. Atlético dropped a 3-2 result at home to Real Madrid before the international break, and they have not won a league match in four games.
Depor, meanwhile, were 2-0 winners over Getafe just before the two-week layoff, and they currently sit a comfortable fifth in the league on 19 points from 10 games. A win would see them gain precious ground on the leaders.
The Galician side are without the suspended Sergio González for the match on Saturday, and several players are injured including Juca and Rodolfo Bodipo.
Atlético are without Czech defender Tomas Ujfalusi and Mariano Pernia. Several others are question marks, but José Antonio Reyes looks ready to feature for the visitors.
Atlético need a big result to right the ship, but this isn't the most ideal of circumstances to do it in. Expect Depor to win a close game at the Riazor.
