Real Club Deportivo Mallorca vs. Unión Deportiva Almería, 3:1

Luke Williams - 22 Nov 2009
Mallorca look to consolidate their spot in sixth place in La Liga on Sunday when they host Almería in the Balearic Islands. Prior to the international break, Mallorca were beaten 4-2 by Barcelona in a thoroughly entertaining game at Camp Nou. Prior to that, Mallorca had been very hot in league play. Almería sit in the middle of the table on 12 points, and they snapped a losing skid with a 2-0 victory over Osasuna two weeks ago. They were stunned, though, by second-division Hércules in the Copa del Rey before the hiatus. Mallorca have top striker Aritz Aduriz fit again after missing several weeks due to injury, but Fernando Valera is out with an injury. Almería manager Hugo Sánchez will be without Albert Crusat, who is suspended, but the rest of the squad is fit for the trip. Mallorca have been perfect at home this season, and this match should not change that record. Expect a strong performance from Gregorio Manzano's side. REVIEW:
