Real Club Deportivo Mallorca vs. Real Zaragoza, 4:1

Luke Williams - 6 Dec 2009
Mallorca can move within one point of the top five on Sunday when they defend a perfect record at ONO Estadi against Zaragoza. The island side have not dropped a point in six matches in the Balearics this season, and they have not lost to Zaragoza at home since April 2005. They could be higher if not for some questionable away form, which included a 1-1 draw at Valencia last week. Zaragoza have slipped to within five points of the bottom three, and they did themselves no favors with last week's 1-0 home loss to Osasuna. Mallorca manager Gregorio Manzano will have to do without midfielders Bruno China and Fernando Varela due to injury, and on-loan Brazilian defender is also out. Paulo Pezzolano and Óscar Díaz have also been left out. There are also injury concerns for Marcelino García Toral's visitors as Rubén Pulido is out, and Leonardo Ponzio is suspended. ONO Estadi has been a fortress for Mallorca this season, and Sunday's game should prove to be no different. Expect a strong performance from the home side. REVIEW:
