Parma FC vs. SSC Napoli, 1:1

Luke Williams - 29 Nov 2009
Parma host a Napoli side who are unbeaten in their last five outings, at the Stadio Ennio Tardini as Week 14 of Serie A resumes on Sunday. Serie A revelations Parma will attempt to continue their positive run after last weekend's key win in Florence, a spectacular 3-2 win which left Fiorentina stunned. The Emiliani now sit fifth with 23 points. Meanwhile, Napoli were held by Lazio at the San Paolo. It was a relatively good result for the Azzurri which meant their unbeaten run under Walter Mazzarri continues. But now they have to start climbing the table. Napoli can count themselves lucky because Parma will be missing several key players. Italy international Daniele Galloppa is suspended, while McDonald Mariga and Alberto Paloschi are injured. This means youngster Francesco Lunardini will start in the middle of the park while Valeri Bojinov should partner Nicola Amoruso up front. The Azzurri will be without Leandro Rinaudo, who got banned for three weeks following a violent scuffle with Julio Cruz. It will be an exciting occasion for former Parma man Paolo Cannavaro. Up front German Denis is unlikely to feature as Mazzarri should still count on Fabio Quagliarella. REVIEW:
