Parma FC vs. AC Chievo Verona, 2:0

Parma will have a strong home record to defend this week when they invite Chievo to the Stadio Tardini, in Week 12 of Serie A on Sunday. In five matches on home soil this term the Emilia Romagna outfit have won four, the only loss coming against Cagliari in Week 6. Chievo though have been no slouches on their travels. In five road trips in 2009-10 they have been beaten just once, while claiming the scalps of Bologna, Cagliari and Catania. That defeat, at the hands of Juventus in Week 1 That last meeting in December 2007 ended 2-2. It was a back and forth game with an Andrea Zanchetta penalty giving Chievo the lead before Igor Budan levelled within two minutes. Daniele Dessena gave Parma back the lead but Lorenzo D’Anna was on hand to tie it up again. For the Crociati goalkeeper Stefano Russo, defender Luca Antonelli, midfielders Andrea Pisanu and McDonald Mariga, and striker Jonathan Biabiany are all injured. Meanwhile, experienced defender Christian Panucci is suspended for one game. For the Ceo the injury concerns are over defender Fabio Moro, midfielder Luca Rigoni and striker Erjon Bogdani all on injured list. All are expected to miss the game. REVIEW:
