Olympique de Marseille remain unbeaten in Ligue 1 and will be boosted by a 3-1 win at Valenciennes on Sunday. They will be at full strength for this vital match. Don’t expect too many fireworks in this match. A draw may be the outcome of this vital match for both sides. REVIEW: PSV Eindhoven gave themselves some slight glimmer of hope of winning through to the next round when they gained their first points in Group D of their Champions League match with a 2-0 victory against Olympique Marseille. It was an evenly contested match that only produced its first goal in the seventy first minute. The first half was a scrappy affair that brought very few scoring chances by both sides. PSV came out after half time showing more intent against a Marseille side that has been unable to show the same form in this competition as they have been showing in Ligue 1 where they are still unbeaten. A corner in the seventy first minute from Stijn Wuytens found the head of Danny Koevermans who headed powerfully past goalkeeper Steve Mandanda. Four minutes from time Danny Koevermans put the match beyond doubt with his second of the match. This time he headed home from an Edison Mendez cross. The two teams meet again in two weeks time.
