Juventus finds themselves seven points behind Inter Milan. They have similar form as Inter in their last six matches. A win on Saturday will close the gap to a mere four, but having played the extra match. Juventus may have had their confidence dented with elimination from the Champions League by Chelsea. An injury crisis has left coach Claudio Ranieri with a limited squad from which to choose. Amauri, Nicola Legrottaglie, Marco Marchionni, Pavel Nedved and David Trezeguet are injury doubts and look set to join Jorge Andrade, Mauro Camoranesi, Paolo de Ceglie, Dario Knezevic, Mohamed Sissoko and Cristiano Zanetti in the treatment room.
Bologna has been making steady progress but their last six matches have brought four losses, a draw and a solitary victory. The victory came against Sampdoria last weekend. They will turn to Serie A leading goal scorer and former Juventus player to see them to safety this season. Cesar, Massimo Marazzina, Gabriele Paonessa and Vangelis Moras are unavailable through injury.
On form, Juventus should win but a draw is not out of the question.
