A cross from Fernandinho was headed back by Gai, and a low shot from Jadson left Basel's keeper without a chance. Willian struck the hosts to a 2-0 lead in the 50th minute and Jadson added his second from a Darijo Srna cross in the 65th. Jadson completed his hat-trick with preparing work from Willian in the 72nd minute, and Seleznyov netted the fifth and final goal a few minutes later.
