Hull City AFC vs. Blackburn Rovers FC, :

Luke Williams - 12 Dec 2009
Sam Allardyce takes his Blackburn Rovers side to face Hull City at the KC Stadium on Saturday. But the two sides are separated by two points at the lower end of the Premier League table - Hull City in 16th and Rovers four places above them. The Tigers will be looking to get back to winning ways after their 3-0 defeat at Aston Villa last weekend, which also saw the loss of record-signing Jimmy Bullard through injury. Allardyce takes a rejuvenated Blackburn side to Yorkshire, with their last two meetings boasting a Carling Cup victory over Chelsea and a draw against Liverpool. Hull have injury doubts over defenders Anthony Gardner and Andy Dawson, though Brown believes they could be fit despite missing training this week. Midfielder Seyi Olofinjana is back in contention after missing four games with a hamstring injury. His return could help to offset the loss of star player Jimmy Bullard, who faces six to eight weeks on the sidelines. Bernard Mendy has recovered from a leg problem and Brown may consider recalling fit-again goalkeeper Boaz Myhill. Blackburn are unlikely to risk midfielder David Dunn at the KC Stadium as he continues his recovery from a calf problem. REVIEW:
