Fulham FC vs. Bolton Wanderers FC, :

Luke Williams - 28 Nov 2009
Fulham host Bolton Wanderers looking to make it two home wins in four days following their 3-0 midweek victory over Blackburn Rovers. The result moved Roy Hodgson's side up to 10th in the Premier League and they are on course for another top-half finish. No wonder then that the club's board of directors are so keen to offer him a new contract. Hodgson himself confirmed a new contract with the club this week - a just reward after keeping the Cottagers in the top flight and then guiding them into Europe - and the canny boss is sure to get a great reception from the Fulham faithful. Fulham pair Danny Murphy and Andy Johnson returned to training this week but are not expected to make the starting XI for the weekend clash against Bolton. While Bobby Zamora undergoes a test, Diomansy Kamara is still absent suffering a knee injury. Things have not been quite as comfortable for Bolton.Following a summer of strengthening, Megson's side still find themselves at the wrong end of the table after losing their last three games on the bounce in the top flight - including the 2-0 home derby loss to Blackburn last time. But, ahead of the trip, Megson can at least take heart from the fact that his team have picked up more points on the road than at home this season and he will be looking for a positive performance at Craven Cottage. Bolton midfielder Tamir Cohen could return to the squad following a groin injury. Cohen was forced to sit out the derby defeat by Blackburn, which kept the side in the relegation zone, because of the problem. Ricardo Gardner suffered a calf strain in that match and Jlloyd Samuel took a knock but both are expected to be available at Craven Cottage. REVIEW:
