FC Dynamo Kyiv vs. FC Internazionale Milano, 1:2

Luke Williams - 4 Nov 2009
After a week in which FC Dynamo Kyiv were beaten 2-0 by FC Shakhtar Donetsk in the Ukrainian Cup and held at home by FC Karpaty Lviv in the league, coach Valeri Gazzaev says they have tremendous motivation for the visit of FC Internazionale Milano. Dynamo are just a point ahead of Inter in a tight UEFA Champions League Group F, but José Mourinho does not see the game as decisive. The Ukrainian giants are cruising in the Premier League, winning 10 of their 12 games and are yet to be beaten. Dynamo striker Andriy Shevchenko has urged his team-mates to show the same fighting spirit they displayed at the San Siro a fornight ago. Inter have won just one of their last six UEFA Champions League away matches and have not won in the competition since beating Anorthosis Famagusta FC 1-0 on 22 October 2008, a run of eight matches. And the Nerazzurri travel to the Ukraine in search of their first win in the competition this season after consecutive draws against Barcelona, Rubin Kazan and Dynamo Kiev in Group F. Those results have left Inter at the foot of the pool, one point behind Barcelona, Rubin and Dynamo with three games remaining. Their league form has been significantly better, with the defending champions seven points clear at the top after Sunday's 2-0 win at Livorno - their fifth straight win in the competition. While Badr El Kaddouri, Olexandr Shovkovskiy, Pape Diakhate are out of Valeri Gazzaev's line-up for Internazionale encounter due to injury, Andriy Nesmachniy remains doubtful. However, Leandro Almeida, Gérson Magrão, Artem Milevskiy have all chances of missing their next match if they get booked in the Milan fixture. Thiago Motta, Wesley Sneijder, Sulley Muntari, Cristian Chivu, Mario Balotelli remain doubtful for Milan. Milito and Motta returned as second-half substitutes against Palermo yet while Milito subsequently started at Livorno, Motta is still struggling for fitness. REVIEW:
