Bayern Munich look to notch their first win of the season on Saturday as they play host to Werder Bremen at Allianz-Arena. The match will likely feature the return of some key players on both sides after they missed the opening weekend.
In the first weekend of fixtures, Bayern held Hoffenheim to a gritty 1-1 draw while Bremen were at times entertaining, but at others very disappointing a 3-2 home loss to Eintracht Frankfurt.
Miroslav Klose returns to fitness for Bayern Munich, likely replacing Ivica Olic in the starting XI. Luca Toni continues to miss as he struggles to be fit, and Martin Demichelis (knee) and Mark von Bommel (broken toe) are also out. For Bremen, Sebastian Prödl is suspended after being sent off last week, while Daniel Jensen (Achilles), Sebastian Boenisch (back), and Naldo (tendon strain) are also absent.
Based off the performances of last week, and the quality of the sides, Bremen will have a tough of it if they are to avoid falling to a second straight league defeat in Munich.
