Bayern Munich look to move back within reach of leaders Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday when they play host to fourth-place Schalke at Allianz-Arena in Round 12 of Bundesliga play.
The Bavarians were stunned at home 2-0 by Bordeaux in Champions League play on Tuesday, and that came just days after a disappointing 0-0 draw in German play at VfB Stuttgart.
Schalke, meanwhile, came from behind yet again to secure a 2-2 draw with Leverkusen a week ago, and Felix Magath's men have not lost in seven total games. A win put Schalke back to within two points of the top side.
Bayern have no new injury concerns ahead of Saturday's clash, but Franck Ribéry and Ivica Olic continue to be out of commission for the home side.
Schalke will be without Georgian attacker Levan Kenia due to injury, and Christian Pander, Lewis Holtby, and Jermaine Jones also continue to miss out with long-term problems.
It will be a tight - and entertaining - affair in Munich on Saturday. While Bayern will be favored on paper at home, don't be surprised for Schalke to snatch points. The home side in this head-to-head match up hasn't won in five games, but Schalke have only one win in their last 11 competitive matches with Bayern.
