Club Atlético de Madrid vs. Chelsea FC, 2:2

Luke Williams - 3 Nov 2009
Atlético Madrid host English giants Chelsea at the Vicente Calderón, as Match Day 4 of Champions League kicks-off in Group D. Having won the opening three matches and collected nine points out of nine without the services of their main striker, Didier Drogba, last year`s semi-finalists Chelsea look favourite to qualify from the group for the knockout stages. In effect, one more win, from the remaining three games, will see them through. And that win could come against Atletico Madrid with the Spanish side being in a very poor run of form. And have had a the worst possible start to the season since 1953/54 as they currently occupy one of the relegation places in La Liga. Chelsea striker Didier Drogba is available again for their Champions League clash at Atletico Madrid. But the Blues have some injury doubts as they aim to preserve their 100% record. Ashley Cole (ankle), Yury Zhirkov (knee), John Mikel Obi (knee) and Jose Bosingwa (knee) are all facing late fitness tests before the Spanish trip. Meanwhile, Atletico have no such injury woes and will field Diego Forlan, Simao and Kun Ageuro. REVIEW:
