AS Roma are in a disappointing fourteenth position after having won only two of their opening seven matches. Francesco Totti makes his Champions League reappearance after a knee injury. He made his return on Sunday in their 0-4 drubbing by FC Internazionale Milan and will be hoping to make more of an impact this time around. His presence will no doubt have a positive impact on the side. At present Chelsea are looking ominous and despite their injury problems should hold too many aces for AS Roma who have only won once in England in eleven matches. A comfortable victory for Chelsea is the prediction. REVIEW: AS Roma came to Stamford Bridge in determined mood and nearly held out long enough for the draw. While Chelsea have been impressive in their domestic Premiership League Roma find themselves languishing in the lower reaches of Serie A. It was apparent from the start that Roma had come to Stamford Bridge to prevent Chelsea from scoring rather than scoring themselves with Francesco Totti playing at times as a lonely striker. This game plan nearly paid off. With a mere thirteen minutes to go a well taken corner from Frank Lampard was headed home by John Terry.
