Bolton Wanderers FC vs. Manchester City FC, :

Luke Williams - 12 Dec 2009
Bolton go into their clash with Manchester City at the Reebok Stadium in dire need of three points as they looked to haul themselves out of the Premier League drop zone. The Trotters face a crucial month in December and started in the worst possible fashion by losing 2-1 to relegation rivals Wolves at Molineux. But City's fortunes couldn't be more different as they prepare to travel to the Reebok Stadium. Mark Hughes' side came from behind to defeat Chelsea 2-1 last-week, Carlos Tevez bagging the winner with a 25-yard free-kick. The win ended a seven-match streak of consecutive draws which threatened to scupper their attempts to break into the top four. Megson receives a huge boost with the return of talisman and captain Kevin Davies, who will lead the Bolton line after serving a one-match ban. Ivan Klasnic could drop to the bench in favour of the 32-year-old but Bolton will be without Joey O'Brien and Sean Davies for the match. Meanwhile, Michael Johnson will not feature for City after the midfielder picked up a knee injury in training Hughes is also without left-back Wayne Bridge was ruled out till the New Year with a knee ligament injury. Micah Richards, Craig Bellamy and Stephen Ireland are all carrying knee injuries and are doubtful for the short trip across Lancashire. REVIEW:
