Bari host Livorno at the Stadio Comunale San Nicola, as Week 12 of Serie A resumes on Sunday.
The Amaranto seem to be a different side since Cosmi replaced Gennaro Ruotolo, beating Roma and Atalanta before an unlucky defeat to Inter. The Tuscans had the better of that game, but once again their lax finishing let them down. And Livorno have by far the worst striking record of the League, having scored four times in 11 games.
Bari haven’t done much better with 10, four of which came in one match.
Thanks to a strong start in this campaign, they have a six-point advantage over Livorno already, but are far too wasteful in front of goal.
Antonio Langella cannot provide an attacking threat down the flanks due to a ban, while Mariano Donda, Matteo Paro, Lorenzo Sforzini and Emmanuel Rivas are injured. Livorno welcome back Cristiano Lucarelli from suspension, but miss Antonio Filippini and Nelson Rivas.
Livorno have made 23 visits to Bari, losing 15, drawing six and winning only twice. The most recent was a thumping 3-0 result in Serie B on December 22, 2002.
