1. FC Nürnberg vs. SC Freiburg, 0:1

Luke Williams - 28 Nov 2009
Fresh off last week's stunning victory, Nürnberg look to continue their ascent above the relegation zone with a home match against Freiburg on Saturday. Nürnberg traveled to beat reigning champions Wolfsburg 3-2 a week ago, as Peer Kluge's injury-time winner sealed the best result of the season thus far for Michael Oenning's men. Freiburg, meanwhile, have dropped to 14th place after losing five of six league games, including a 6-0 drubbing at the handds of Werder Bremen a week ago. The club have been very suspect in defense in the last two months. Nürnberg are without goalkeeper Raphael Schäfer due to a suspension, leaving Alexander Stephan to deputize. Marcel Risse also continues to miss out for the home side with an injury. For Freiburg manager Robin Dutt, Heiko Butscher is out with a shoulder injury, and Pavel Krmas is also out with an injury. Ömer Toprak, Johannes Flum and Eke Uzoma will also miss out for the visitors. These two teams could not have experienced more opposite fates a week ago. Expect Nürnberg to continue their run at home against a reeling Freiburg side. REVIEW:
